All I did was paint and read my Bible. And the kids surrounded me, spent hours with me. They taught me about the posture of receiving the Kingdom like a child. It was simple and it was easy to share in Spanish the Gospel through the paintings the Lord gave me. Greater surrender than ever before. Do what makes your eyes light up, depend on the Spirit more and more as you do, and just see the life it brings. Even if you think you don’t begin to compare to the best, so what?! He made you for more, fearfully wonderfully specifically fashioned in your mother’s womb to bring His goodness to the ends of this Earth. Creation is crying out for you to do what you were made to do. 

One of my favorite ministry days was one so spontaneous that the Lord dreamed up, ministering through paintings was part of it. 2 souls were won to Christ. Read my dear friend’s blog about it!!

Are you swimming in the deep
With Me
Does your soul burst within you
Only in Me have you found roots growing coral reefs of majesty and color
Above the surface is a simple mangrove
But immersion in Me is breathing under water in a different realm you didn’t know existed
Illuminated wonder
Can you see Me there

Dependence on the Spirit - I’m overcome with emotions 

I can feel eternity - And the power of my existence

And the power of what he doing for the indigenous in Panama 

He’s pouring out His Spirit - And their hands will be open to receive it

It takes tears

But this time the tears will be those of joy from the release of the Spirit 

Touching every heart - The darkness has become light

And it’s consuming - Rivers of life

Eyes that have known the world and all its brokenness and known God 

I know God - God how could it be possible

How could I be worthy

I risked depending on the Lord for it - Trusting that He could guide my paintbrush 

And make her shading and all look right 

It’s harder to trust God with the direction of something and not rely on normal methods

But to ask for His direction - You don’t believe it could turn out right

But it actually turns out better than you could ever do on your own

Hannah would you trust me

It’s an adventure and when it turns out you’ll be overcome with joy and awe and His Spirit

I was overcome letting Him flow through me

And I’ve never painted like this - I’ve never lived like this

His compassion His wonderous Creation through me

Like with Him it’s nothing it’s ever been before - It’s so so much more

His Spirit with the abilities He’s given invites life and freedom
