Never will I forget what it was like to be held by an elephant. A healing hug that reached the depth of all my pain and restored me to Eden

It’s beautiful trunk resting heavy on my shoulder I close my eyes and embrace a giant living being that none has touched. Not sin nor evil. Just love, majesty illuminated the heart of the believer

I am not alone

I raise my hand to grasp the side of a curvy, wrinkly, harry wall above me that breathes. I lay hands and want to Spirit pray over this animal, but this animal Spirit prays over me

Behind wading in the water, the vibrant sun comes rushing in to hit every splash and every corners edge of the elephants fur. As the elephant meanders left and right sways it’s body against the sunlight, I can’t imagine that this is real life

This huge body dunks itself into the water kneeling down in peace. When you say goodbye we gather as a community of one, a community of Creation calling out to what we are made for

Nothing can touch us; nothing can touch me. Except the touch of the elephants that says God loves me

He has not forgotten me. He has prepared this Holy moment for me since the beginning of time, and He is preparing me for everything that is to come

Whenever the broken world touches you, remember the loving, gentle sweet eyes and eyelashes that curve around that elephant. Remember that beauty and connection cannot exist without reason or by chance

Remember that God chose you for this. And that all Creation sings of His praises and love. And that Wonder was always the way

Never forget the day when God reached you at the time when your dream was stripped off of your feet, but the day God showed you a new dream and made you feel. The cold water submerged your face afterwards falling down your body and you can’t move on from holy serenity beckoning you home
